Peter O’Toole, Aud’s co-star in How to Steal a Million, is often considered the greatest actor to never win an Oscar. He’s been nominated eight times, and won an Honorary Oscar in 2003.

Fun Fact: When Gov learned he’d get the Honorary Oscar, he sent a letter to the Academy and told them he didn’t want it — he was still making movies and wanted a chance outright. The Academy informed him that he’d get the Honorary Oscar whether he wanted to accept it or not.
