Only four other actresses have won for debut performances: Marlee Matlin (Children of a Lesser God in 1986), Barbra Streisand (Funny Girl in 1968), Julie Andrews (Mary Poppins in 1964), and Shirley Booth (Come Back, Little Sheeba in 1952).
